This place was such a delightful restaurant! We probably ordered too much but enjoyed the left overs tremendously! Butter chicken and momos are highly recommended! Staff was very kind and it was busy for a post holiday Friday.

Parking on Solano is challenging especially @ lunch. New location, spacious, light & airy, attractive bar ! Very good selection of thali / lunch specials served on a metal tray, every compartment full plus naan & papadam on top ! Also choice of white or brown rice ! Server was helpful & attentive, flexible in creating thali inclusive lunch selections that were not on the menu ! Many vegan selections, always a plus for me ! Delicious steamed veggie dumplings came w/ yummy dipping sauce ! Tasty & filling !

I have had happy hour dishes twice here. Great cocktail, yummy appetizers and friendly service. The Indian-Asian fusion fried potatoes are out of this world delicious. They will bring some yummy hot sauce to dip them in if you ask. Whatever type of peppercorns they are using on them are supreme. Lovely mango lasse. Ribs yummy. Samosa chat five stars.

I have been coming here for a number of years now. Everest is one of the highlights of Solano, and I have always loved their food (momos, samosa chaat and sekuwa are among my favorites). Everest's staff and owners are also amazing and have always taken care of me, and I think that's how they aim to treat all their customers. I wanted to use this review to to put in a special word for their new happy hour. It's a very special addition to the neighborhood: the cocktails are great and well-conceived. The food options on the happy hour include some very tasty and unique specialties (potato wedges, peanuts, pork ribs are among the highlights). There's a great, warm atmosphere, a lovely counter to sit at, and it's a real treat in terms of drinks and food. People should definitely check it out.

I went here with my wife on 8/3 and we chose to eat outdoors. Bini, our server, greeted us with a warm smile, and we ordered the Salmon tikka masala, pumpkin chickpeas and the garlic naan with the raita yogurt dip. What a delicious meal! The service was impeccable, the place was clean and cheerful and we parked two steps away! This is a great restaurant.

Everest now has Happy Hour and in my opinion, one of the best around! 3p-6p, 7 days a week and they have a wonderful menu to order small plates. The cocktails were great! We ordered an Nepal Old Fashioned and Farallon which was a gin drink. All the plates were absolutely delicious and my ultimate fav was the Pani Puri. A shell filled with spicy potatoes and chickpeas sits atop of a shot glass of spicy water. Pour the water into the shell, enjoy all the flavors and repeat. There's outdoor and indoor table service available. The crew here is wonderful and friendly. We've never experienced bad service here. Being this place is on Solano, it's a perfect place to people watch! Try the Happy Hour!! I know we'll be back for more!

What made us stop to eat lunch here was literally the smell of the spices as we passed by. It basically pulled us in. Everything was soooo flavorful , it was the first time we had momos reminded us of dumplings on the outside but very unique and prominent Indian flavors on the inside. I loved the lunch special. Got more to try. The waitress was attentive enough to where we felt comfortable and taken care of. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very clean

Came here starving after 14 holes at Tilden. How did I know about this place? I was getting frozen yogurt the night before, and was lured by delicious smell while passing. Portion wise; rice should be slightly bigger in portion. It was my first time ordering second bowl of rice at an indian place due to less portion. Also it's just plain jasmine rice, without any added seeds or herbs. Not a huge fan of garlicky food, so had the plain naan which was a lovely combination with all things ordered. The dumplings chicken momo were also great. The inside had more of nepalese vibe than indian vibe. Although i appreciate cultural designs in many restaurants, sometimes i like less statues, idols, mustard-orange thick napkins like this place. If you're looking for nice vibe local india/nepalese food, i recommend this place. Service wise, not bad, but noticed only 1 bright-looking, hardworking girl that got the job done nicely of all 3+ staff that worked there at that time which made up what could have been a less attentive service. Pricing: Higher end compared to other Indian restaurants and portion but not too complain-worthy.

One of my favorite places to go if you want amazing food and now has an amazing HH menu and craft cocktails. Can't wait to both dine in with the HH nibbles or grabbed takeout and have a lovely drink at the bar.
